Welcome to Discount Dumpsters. By renting a dumpster or using our website (https://discountdumpstersiowa.com/), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or placing an order for a roll-off dumpster, you accept and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Discount Dumpsters provides roll-off container rentals for residential, commercial, and industrial waste management in the Des Moines, IA area. Delivery and pickup times are based on demand and equipment availability. While we strive to accommodate same-day requests, they are not guaranteed.

3. Rental Periods and Extensions

• Standard Rental: Our standard rental period is 14 days.

• Extensions: If you require the dumpster for longer than 14 days, you must request extra days when placing your order or prior to the end of your rental period. Additional charges apply for extended rentals. We cannot guarantee availability for extensions if not arranged in advance.

4. Weight Limits and Overages

Disposal costs are a significant part of our service, so each dumpster size includes a specific weight allowance:

• 15-Yard Dumpster: Includes 2 Tons (4,000 lbs)

• 20-Yard Dumpster: Includes 3 Tons (6,000 lbs)

• 30-Yard Dumpster: Includes 4 Tons (8,000 lbs)

Overage Fees:

• Any weight exceeding your included allowance will incur an additional charge of $55 per ton (or as currently stated on our fee schedule).

• Maximum Legal Capacity: Legally, our trucks are permitted to carry up to 7,000 lbs. If a loaded bin exceeds this legal limit, we cannot transport it. The customer will be required to unload the excess weight. In this event, a $75 trip fee will be applied, and an additional charge of $15 per day will be incurred until the excess weight is safely offloaded.

5. Loading Rules and Fill Levels

• Max Fill Line: All materials must remain level with or below the top edge of the container. Items protruding over the top may need to be removed for safe and legal transportation.

• Overfilled Bins: By law, each load must be securely tarped for transport. If a bin is overfilled, the customer is responsible for clearing the excess debris. A $50 return trip fee will be applied to cover our expenses if we cannot pick up the dumpster due to overfilling.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that project timelines can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• 48+ Hours Notice: If you cancel your order at least 48 hours before your scheduled service day, you will receive a full refund.

• Under 48 Hours Notice: If you cancel less than 48 hours before your service day, a $75 cancellation fee will be applied, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

7. Delivery and Placement

You do not need to be present for the delivery or removal of the dumpster, though we may contact you on-site to verify placement. Please ensure the delivery area is clear of vehicles, debris, and low-hanging wires or branches.

Disclaimer: Roll-off dumpsters and the trucks that deliver them are very heavy. While we take every precaution to place the dumpster gently, Discount Dumpsters is not responsible for any damage to driveways, concrete, asphalt, pavers, lawns, or underground utilities resulting from the delivery, placement, or retrieval of the equipment.

8. Prohibited Materials

Customers may not place hazardous, toxic, or highly flammable materials into the dumpsters. This generally includes, but is not limited to: wet paint, chemicals, motor oil, asbestos, tires, batteries, and Freon-containing appliances. Please contact us if you have questions about specific items.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
